eSkilled has unveiled a new feature called RTO Analytics & AI Reporting, which enhances its student and learning management platform tailored for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia. This innovative capability aims to streamline access to essential operational data in areas such as enrolments, learner progress, compliance, finance, attendance, and overall organisational performance. According to the company, the system is designed to minimize dependency on traditional spreadsheets, manual data exports, and specialized reporting expertise.
The reporting functionality encompasses 29 reportable entities and over 650 reportable fields, providing detailed insights into various aspects, including students, enrolments, trainers, finance, attendance, quality management, risk management, continuous improvement, and AVETMISS data. Users can generate reports using a straightforward point-and-click interface or by employing natural-language prompts to specify their requirements. The AI capability then processes these requests, selecting pertinent data, applying necessary filters, creating visualizations, and setting up the report accordingly.
Examples of queries that users can make include identifying trainers whose credentials are nearing expiration, locating invoices that are overdue by more than 30 days, or analyzing withdrawal rates across different qualifications. eSkilled CEO Scott Rogers emphasized that the feature is designed to make operational data more accessible to RTO staff without necessitating advanced skills in reporting or database management.
Additionally, the platform introduces AI Chat with Your Data, enabling staff to inquire about operational data using natural language. The responses generated are based on live data from the organisation’s student management system, allowing examination of areas such as attendance, completion rates, financial performance, compliance activities, and quality management. The platform also provides tailored dashboards and reporting tools for various roles, including executives, RTO managers, training coordinators, compliance teams, finance personnel, trainers, and administrators. Other notable features consist of KPI dashboards, scheduled reports, AVETMISS data-quality monitoring, trainer credential tracking, and comprehensive organisation-wide reporting.
eSkilled assures that the analytics and AI features respect existing user permissions, restricting data access according to each staff member’s role. AI queries are conducted using sanitized and permission-controlled data, and audit logging records all reporting and AI activities. These measures are intended to uphold organizational governance and regulatory compliance. The new analytics feature is part of eSkilled’s overarching platform, which integrates student management, learning management, online training delivery, compliance functions, and business intelligence. RTO Analytics & AI Reporting is set to be available within eSkilled’s SMS & LMS by August 2026.
